R.P. Whelan, rider of Brightly Shining, trained by J. S. Bolger, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran green.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Brightly Shining, trained by J. S. Bolger, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Akeed Misk, trained by P.D. Deegan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was accidentally bumped into leaving the stalls.

P.J. Smullen, rider of Truthwillsetufree, trained by D. K. Weld, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount failed to pick up in the latter stages.
